About Our Staff

We believe quality childcare begins with having the absolute best trained teachers possible. To insure we provide the best possible teachers for every child at Children's Palace, we have developed a unique "Teacher Certification Program." This program, in addition to college courses and life experiences, insure our teachers are completely trained and certified by one of our Master Teachers. During our interactive certification program new teachers are trained, observed and tested on the following topics by our Master Teachers:

1. The History and Mission of Children's Palace
2. The Children's Palace Educational Programs
3. Behavior Management for Young Children
4. Health and Safety in Child Care Centers
5. Parent Communications
6. Transition Techniques
7. Infant and Toddler Development
8. CPR and First Aide

In addition to our certification program, all staff members are encouraged to obtain their Child Development Associates Degree, Certified Child Care Professionals Degree or other early childhood degree. Children's Palace provides scholarships for staff members pursuing a degree in early childhood education. All employees undergo a complete criminal history check.
